Woodlawn Collective LLC ("Otto," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Otto reverse phone lookup service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our SMS-based service.

Otto does not store your lookup history, does not sell your data to third parties, and does not share your information with advertisers. We only use the phone number you text to us to perform the lookup you requested, and that lookup is not saved or associated with your account after the response is sent.

- Your Phone Number: When you text Otto, we receive your phone number from your carrier
- Lookup Queries: The phone numbers you text to Otto for identification
- Payment Information: Billing details processed securely through Stripe (we do not store your payment card information)
- Account Information: Email address (if provided) for account management and support
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Service Usage: We log when you use the service to manage your subscription and enforce usage limits
- Technical Information: Carrier information and message delivery status
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to:
- Provide reverse phone lookup services
- Process your subscription payments
- Enforce usage limits and prevent abuse
- Respond to customer support inquiries
- Send service-related notifications (e.g., billing reminders, service updates)
- Comply with legal obligations
We do NOT use your information to:
- Build profiles of your calling patterns
- Sell or rent your data to third parties
- Send marketing or promotional messages (unless you opt-in)
- Share your lookup history with anyone
3. Data Retention
3.1 Lookup Queries
Phone numbers you text to Otto for lookup are not stored after we send you the response. We process your query in real-time and do not maintain a history of your lookups.
3.2 Subscription Data
We retain your phone number and subscription status for as long as you maintain an active subscription, plus 90 days after cancellation for billing and support purposes.
3.3 Payment Records
Payment transaction records are retained for 7 years to comply with financial regulations.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We only share information in the following limited circumstances:
4.1 Service Providers
- Twilio: SMS delivery infrastructure
- Stripe: Payment processing
- Airtable: Subscriber database management
These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to Otto.
4.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

6. Your Rights & Choices
6.1 Opt-Out of SMS Messages
Text STOP to 1-844-321-OTTO to unsubscribe from SMS responses. This will also cancel your subscription.
6.2 Access Your Data
You may request a copy of the personal information we have about you by emailing hello@textotto.io.
6.3 Delete Your Data
You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing hello@textotto.io. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
6.4 Correct Your Data
If any information we have about you is incorrect, you may request corrections by emailing hello@textotto.io.
7. Children's Privacy
Otto is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.
8. California Privacy Rights
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to know what personal information is collected
- Right to know if personal information is sold or disclosed
- Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (Note: We do not sell personal information)
- Right to request deletion of personal information
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising CCPA rights
